The Flu

OK, my whole family has had the flu this week one at a time.  This has meant no sleep at all for me. Then I got it.  Then one of my lovely kids cut the cord off my telephone so I have no phone contact with anyone.  My cell phone has very little minutes on it.  I talk to Janet every day no matter what, flu or not.

I was laying in the bed, and I put a movie in for the kids so they wouldn't kill each other.  It was Pippi Longstocking.  In one of the scenes she asks her mother (who is an angel in heaven by the way) how to get a message to her dad.  She tells her to simply put a note in a bottle.

That's it!  I will put a note to Janet and have the milktruck driver fling it over the bridge into the Chautauqua lake.  Someone will find it and get it to her when it washes up on Bemus beach.

This is what I was going to write on the note:  Dear Janet:

I think I am dying.  I can't call you because Weezy cut the cord off the phone.  Please have Rum and Coke at the funeral (enough for everyone) and have your  mom make her famous cheesecake.  Oh yeah, please have them write on my  headstone "It's been a party!"

Thanks,

Love Anne

These are my last wishes

what in the hell is she talking about?

I can't find it.  There is a scene in "The
Shining" where a lady turns into a skeleton.  I saw that movie in the 80's and I can still see that scene.  EEKKK!!!

I hate skeletons.  Hate them.

the shining!!!! eeekkkkk

Cher

Cindy and Madonna!!

Lady Gaga?

OK, so my friend Ann sends me this video of Lady Gaga.  To be honest with you it scared me.  The skeleton thing at the end it a little creepy for me.  She definately looks good dancing around in something that looks like red shoelaces for a bathing suit. Will someone please email her and let her know that those shoes she is wearing will cause  vericose veins and ruin her feet when she gets older.  I think her babysitter must have been Cindy Lauper when she was little and they must have hung out all day watching videos of Cher and Madonna.  I guess the Gaga refers to her youth? I know jealously will get me nowhere.  Anyone who gets to hang out with Elton John must be fun.  He is old enough to be her grandfather for God's sake.  Ok you can watch the video, I am just warning you, it's as scary as any horror movie I have ever seen.  The skeleton at the end reminded me of "The Shining".  I am sure I am the only one in the world still alive who has even seen "The
Shining".

OK talk later,

Annie

(AKA Lady Gaga wanna be?)
